Terms and conditions

Last updated [DATE] · An agreement between you and KioskHut [LEGAL ENTITY NAME AND ADDRESS].

These terms apply when you use KHMeet. If you use KHMeet for an organisation, you accept them for that organisation and confirm you are allowed to.

1. The service

KHMeet lets you host and join video meetings in a web browser, record and transcribe them, chat, share your screen and, with the other person's approval, control their computer. Some features depend on your organisation's settings, and some are marked as coming soon.

2. Your account

Give accurate details, keep your password and two-factor device safe, and tell us through the contact page if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.

An organisation's owners and admins can invite and remove members, change roles and manage the organisation's meetings and recordings.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use KHMeet to break the law, harass people, share content you have no right to share, record people without telling them where the law requires consent, spread malware, try to get into accounts or systems that are not yours, or overload or interfere with the service.

4. Recording and remote control

KHMeet tells everyone in a meeting when it is being recorded. The host and your organisation are responsible for having any consent the law requires before recording.

Remote control starts only after the person sharing their screen approves it, and they can stop it at any time. Only take control of a computer you have permission to use.

5. Your content

You and your organisation own your recordings, transcripts, chat and other content. You give KioskHut permission to store, process and display it only as needed to provide KHMeet to you. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.

6. Our software

KHMeet, its design and its software belong to KioskHut. You may use them only as these terms allow. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

7. Other services

KHMeet relies on service providers for hosting, storage, email and transcription, and can work with other KioskHut products such as KHConnect and KHCloud. Their own terms may also apply to those products.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep KHMeet available but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or improve features; we will give notice before removing something important you rely on.

9. Plans and fees

[KioskHut to describe plans, billing, renewals and refunds before any paid plan is offered.]

10. Ending your use

You can stop using KHMeet and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where we reasonably can.

11. Warranties and liability

[KioskHut's lawyer to supply the disclaimer, limitation of liability and indemnity wording for the jurisdictions KHMeet is offered in.]

12. Law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. We will post changes here and tell account owners about important ones. Questions: [LEGAL EMAIL], KioskHut [ADDRESS].
